Our Designer Cláudia talks you through how to make a great video:
Video format
These are the minimum requirements for the video.
-
Customised: Make sure you greet the person who the video is for at the start and explaining who requested it for them. Also follow all guidance given by the client about how they’d like the video to be customised.
-
Video quality: at least that of a good smart phone (if you have access to a better quality camera then feel free to use)
-
Sound quality: at least that of a good smart phone (here it is advisable to dub over good quality sound, but again this is subject to you having this setup available)
-
Format: landscape video, uploaded to an unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link. This is the link you send to jonny@encoremusicians.com.
Filming advice
-
Aesthetics: Make sure your background is uncluttered and you are looking your best (whatever that means for you!)
-
Angles: aim to shoot at head height or angled down. Most people look less flattering with a camera pointed up their nose!
-
Lighting: shoot in daylight near a window if possible. Indoor lighting is harsher than natural sunlight.
