When applying for jobs, often it’s the early bird that takes the worm, so we've made it easier than ever to quickly respond to a client when they add their enquiry.
Rather than writing a separate cover note for every enquiry, you can create a list of template messages which you can quickly drop into your cover note when you’re applying for a job.
Here’s how it works:
- Head to your Settings page and scroll down to Application Templates.
- Write your template messages. You might want to leave spaces for personalised information like the name of the client, particular song or piece requests, or venue types.
- Once you’re happy with your templated message, simply click “Save template”. Your template will then be added in the Application Templates section on your Settings page. You can add, edit, or delete templates from here at any time.
- Next time you apply for a job, simply click the orange template icon, select the relevant template from the dropdown to paste it into your cover note, then edit any important parts of the message to customise it to that client.
You can also add template messages as you go by clicking the “Save this message as a template” checkbox when you apply for a job. The message you have written will then be copied and stored in your Application Templates on your Settings page if you would like to reuse or edit it in future.
