Starting prices are displayed on your profile giving clients an idea of the minimum they should expect to pay for a short 45 minutes set exclusive of travel.
In addition, we know that musicians with starting prices are more likely to receive enquiries, so once you've added your starting price we'll boost the visibility of your profile on our search pages across the platform.
To benefit from this boost in visibility and increase your chances of getting enquiries, add your starting price now.

What is my starting price?
Your starting price is defined as your typical minimum rate for a 45 minute set with your act using your standard line-up.
Will my starting price be used when I quote for gigs?
No - your starting price is purely a guide to clients who browse your profile. You will still have full flexibility over how much you quote for each job.
I have multiple line-up options, how do I give a starting price?
Your starting price should be for your primary line-up. Adding additional pricing guidelines for smaller or larger line-ups will be coming soon.
Why is there a minimum starting price?
We’re committed to making sure that musicians on Encore are always paid fairly and cannot be undercut by other musicians charging unreasonably low rates. For this reason, we do not allow musicians to add starting prices below £160 - a fee aligned with typical industry minimum rates.
Will adding starting prices result in only the cheapest musicians being booked?
No - we’ve found that for most clients, the quality of the artist is more important than the price. That said, seeing the price of a musician may help them come to a decision when comparing musicians of a similar quality.
