Encore is committed to providing great experiences for all clients and musicians. To do this, we encourage candid feedback as this improves the quality of the platform.
It is not usually possible to remove reviews - to ensure that the community remains trustworthy and transparent, clients must be free to leave honest reviews of the musicians they book through the site. Likewise, clients cannot edit or remove reviews of them left by musicians.
However, there are a few situations when Encore will consider editing or removing a review.
These situations include reviews:
- that include profanity or personal insults
- that are directed towards the Encore platform and not the booking or musician
- where the Client confirms with Encore (via phone or email) that they consent to an edit being made to their review
- That are incentivised by a promise for payment, additional services, or a discounted rate or motivated by a threat of extortion
